Seeking therapy is not only for those with mental health struggles, but effective therapy can be extremely worthwhile for many and critically necessary for some. I believe that therapy can help manage life’s many challenges and live a more fulfilling and meaningful life, providing us insight into our inner most thoughts and feelings and how to cope with them. As a Nurse Therapist (Psychotherapist Trainee), I have trained in different therapeutic modalities to work with a wide range of clients of various age groups who struggle with complex trauma, addictions, depression, anxiety, sexuality and sexual trauma within a variety of mental health services. I currently divide my time between my work as an Alcohol and Other Drugs Counsellor (Adolescent and Youth) and private practice. I have always worked in a relational manner as I believe that mutually satisfying relationships with others are paramount for one’s emotional well-being. I am currently undergoing training with the Australia and New Zealand Association of Psychotherapy (ANZAP) in the Conversational Model of Psychodynamic Psychotherapy.
Whatever reason you have for seeking therapy, feel free to contact me to discuss the possibilities of working together in a therapeutic collaboration to explore a greater sense of self and wellbeing.
As the agreed time is allocated specifically for you, missed sessions or cancellations are
charged except in unusual circumstances, in which, there will be a nominal charge of $50.
