About Me

I have worked for a number of years with adults, couples and families facing a variety of issues such as depression, anger, anxiety, grief, trauma, relationship and family challenges.

I currently work in private practice having previously worked in a child and family support service where I developed a particular interest in promoting positive, caring relationships between parents and their children and supporting parents in improving the health and well-being of the family unit.

Are you behaving in ways that are not helpful to yourself or others? Are things going wrong? Does it keep happening over and over again? Is it time to make a change?

There are many reasons that bring us to therapy which can provide the opportunity to address issues of concern to you.

My Approach

I work in a collaborative way that looks to empower people in finding their own solutions to their own problems. My work to date has seen me helping people to discover the skills they need to make positive changes in their lives and the lives of those around them.

By providng a service that supports an understanding and management of emotions in everyday life, my aim is to provide a safe place to explore how such problems come to be and to develop an awareness of how we come to repeat patterns of thinking and behaviour. With this new knowledge and understanding, meaningful changes can be made.
